As many of you know by now our family is beginning our next journey.  A journey that is taking us to Mumbai, India.  Destination unknown!  

Personally and professionally we all need a change of pace.  This mindset was the catalyst that started our search in looking for a school that we could add value to and one that could add value to our family.  And our search has led us to The American School of Bombay.  

Rachel and I visited this school in October and I think that it was safe to say that we instantly knew this was our next step in our journey.  I am so excited to be joining this school as they challenge themselves and their students to achieve greatness.  

As for India, we were overwhelmed (in a very positive way) with the sights and sounds of India.  Evelyn Greenslade, portrayed by Judi Dench in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel said, "India is an assault on the senses. It's like a wave; resist and you go under, ride it out and you arrive on the other side."  Our destination is not India but our journey is on the other side of the wave.  

This is our first attempt at a family blog and our intent is that we will keep this up to date so that our friends and family can enjoy our journey.
